Go flat out in the timed sections and enjoy the scenery on the liaison stages.
For the sake of the race and your safety, timing is only available on predefined sections, representing at least 2/5 of the total distance to be covered.
Rally timing has several advantages:
Suspense until the last moment
No one can know the day's result until the last rider has arrived.
Ride cool at times
During liaison stages, participants can take a more relaxed approach, stopping for a coffee or simply admiring the panorama, and enjoy these moments without the stress of the stopwatch.
Play for the win or just enjoy the ride
Whether you want to win the stage or the overall, it's up to you. Participants who want to keep 100% fun are not obliged to ride flat out in the timed sections.
With this "Rally" format, the main aim is to offer something for everyone, from the most competitive to those who are there for adventure and discovery.
Participant safety
Competitors don't have to take risks on dangerous sections, such as descending mountain passes or crossing built-up areas.
